I am going to share a few of my favorite baby things this time around with baby #2. There is a lot of new and improved things out since last time I had a newborn.

1.  The Boppy Newborn Lounger- I love this!  Jack can bust a chill or a nap on this comfy pillow.  We are still using it and he is a big baby.  I wish they had bigger sizes but I guess that's called a bean bag chair.

2.  Aden and Anais Swaddling blankets-  I had a winter baby but I like these because they are light weight and can be used year round.  Very soft, breathes easily and is stretchy.

3.  Aden and Anais Burpy Bibs- Great material, large, and are shaped to fit on your shoulder.  They are actually 2 in 1.  After you use it as a burp cloth they have a snap on them to use as a bib.  Pretty cool!

4.  Wubbanub- We really don't use pacifiers much but I like this pacifier.  It comes in a bunch of different animals.  I like it because if they spit it out it doesn't fly onto the floor.  It normally will just rest on their chest.  They can easily put it back in themselves and is a great item for them to cuddle.  Washing it is a little annoying because the pacifier is sewn to the animal.

5.  Double BOB Stroller- I'm a BOB snob.  Single or double stroller these are my favorite hands down.  The new models are way better than the old ones.  We have the old single and new double.  We do a lot of trails and walking the streets.  Also, it turns really well so you can even use it in stores.  I have not ran yet with the double but I'm looking forward to it.

6.  The Woombie- So easy.  Put baby in and zip.  Perfect swaddle every time.  Some people refer it to the baby straight jacket but I refer to it as a pea in the pod.  I got the newborn one and we like it so I also bought the next size up.  Now Jack prefers to suck on his hands because of teething so we do the Snug and Tug, Miracle blankets, or Aden and Anais blankets.

7.  Lansinoh Wipes and 3-1 Diaper Ointment-  Perfect for breastfed babies.  It provides protection against diaper rash.  Anytime I have acidic foods Jack's poop makes his bottom bright red.  So if I eat strawberries, oranges, etc. I'll use the ointment that day.  It goes on white and dries clear, no odor, no mess and is AWESOME compared to any other diaper rash ointment.  The wipes are also great.  One wipe goes a long way, no unpleasant smell, provides a protective barrier and is hypoallergenic and alcohol-free.

8.  Fuzzibunz One Size-  I also have enjoyed using cloth diapers.  I only have a few so I haven't completely taken the plunge.  I wanted to try them out first and see how things go.  Now I have to get Doug sold on the idea.  He doesn't want anything to do with it.  So it's hard to invest in cloth when he would rather pay more for the convenience of disposable.  I like it because it saves you tons of money, not that hard once you have a system and cloth diapers are super cute too!

9.  My Brestfriend Deluxe-  I have had the Boppy and this is way better.  It's a must have for a nursing mom and is my can't live without favorite!!!!

  10.  Bravado Designs Nursing Bras!!!  Super comfy and hold up well.  I like the Body Silk Seamless Nursing Bra and the Bliss Soft Cup Bra.  Target has a cheaper line called Basics by Bravado.  I like the Felicity nursing cami and the Stella Nursing bra for around the house and to sleep in.

I'm also going to make Jack's baby food but I will let you know how that goes.  We are waiting till 6 months to introduce solids.

Also, I don't buy anything full price.  I get everything from Amazon, Mamabargains, Babysteals, or use coupons, etc.  Online shopping is fantastic for good bargains!
